“What continues to plague search marketers is the adherence to old-think issues: ‘Content is too hard to create.’ ‘Links are too hard to build organically.’ This type of focus blinds you to more important things.” ~ Duane Forrester, Senior Product Manager, Bing
What is Organic SEO
Organic SEO (search engine optimization) is the phrase used to describe processes to obtain a natural placement on organic search engine results pages (SERPs). Some examples of techniques used for organic SEO include using keywords or key phrases and the analysis of them, backlinking, link building and writing content relevant for human readers.
These organic search results are free, and you do not have to pay as you would with pay per click advertising like you do with Google adwords for example. Unlike with PPC campaigns the benefits of organic search engine optimization can be seen long after the initial work has been done. With any paid search the adverts in the search engine listings will not be available once you stop making the payments to that company.
Organic search engine optimization however, the results will continue to appear for an indefinite period of time but do take longer to build.
This is where clients pay a set fee each month for an agreed-upon array of services. The monthly retainer is one of the most common services, because it provides the greatest ROI. Monthly retainer arrangements usually include regular analytics reports, on-site content improvements, press releases, link building, keyword research, and optimization. We build each package based on your specific needs as a business that needs just a local presence would not run the same campaign as one that is looking to go global. This way you pay for just what your business needs and nothing more.
Project fees are similar to retainer services with the exception that they are custom projects created specifically for a client and one-time services. Pricing varies according to the project. For example, a local bike shop may ask an RMX Digital Studio to help them with their local online marketing. The client decides that they want the agency to establish their social media accounts. The bike shop and the SEO agency will decide on the scope and cost of the project. One flat fee for a one time service usually involving just SEO setup.

We would encourage having an in depth conversation with us prior to going into this type of agreement as we have seen clients pay for this services to only calls us back a month later to discuss other services, 30-45 minutes of your time invested can reap you savings in the long term.
“The days of SEO being a game outsmarting algorithms are over. Today content strategy and valuable, sustainable strategies are essential, not just tricks and links.” ~ Adam Audette, Chief Knowledge Officer, RKG
What we do
Search engine algorithms are constantly evolving, they have taken away some of the power keywords use to have and replaced with content relevance. This means just stuffing your website with keywords over and over will no longer gain you “rank juice” as some would call it. We will do not write your website content for you but we can analyze it and for lack of a better term “refine” the content for optimization purposes. Do you think content means just the words on your website? Images play a important role too and are often overlooked, content can be placed into images as well for search engines to read a display during searches. We deem anything on your website from words, images to videos as content and so should you.
Getting your website indexed on all the major search engines can range from very easy to very time consuming depending on your situation. We can help with either scenario and everything inbetween. If your website is brand new and never been indexed before or if you are doing a redesign without changing any of the page names then it is a straight forward process. Where things get more time consuming is if you are doing a full overhaul of your current website after it has been indexed. You then (situation depending) have to create multiple 301 redirects for the search engine to read in order to not lose all of your current SEO rankings, or in the event that you now have pages the search engines deem duplicate content (which can penalize you in the rankings) you now have to create canonical redirects to let the search engines know it is not duplicate pages.
Social Media Management
Managing social media is more than just posting articles. It is creating relationship on a business to customer 1 on 1 level. Doing this while creating brand awareness is only achieved by using carefully crafted, engaging content. In addition to that there is a science behind it all starting with the time of day you post, the keywords use include, the call to action the message represents and so on. Just like with our Web Analytics we use specially designed software to analyze all of these factors and optimize your social interaction to maximize your ROI. Social media is the new “word of mouth” advertising so do not take it lightly.
Organic Link Building
Once upon a time there were websites you could pay a monthly fee to and get your website automatic links, this practice has been red flagged and now your website will be penalized for doing so. Link building is the process of networking with other websites in a like industry or a product or service that would complement each other. Then setting up links to each others websites and exchange “link juice”. This can be a tiresome process of researching other websites site performance to ensure it would aid your business then making contact and presenting how a link relationship would benefit both parties without endangering customer lost. If you own a sunglass store then maybe a store that sold swimsuits but no sunglasses would make a good candidate. The more outside links you have to your website, the more perceived value your site has to search engines.
Web Press Releases
As in traditional offline marketing press releases or public interest stories are used to generate noteworthy buzz about you or your business. We have applied that same train of thought to your online presence. In conjunction with your social media outlets we have developed a network of over 50 news sites and blogs (depending on your industry) to list press releases to in order to help generate backlinks, media buzz and exposure for your business. This aids in search engine rankings as well as general public exposure. Even though traditional ads may speak of grand opening or sales the content posted is what generates the interest. If you are a landscape company maybe a short article on the top 5 things to do to ready your lawn for winter would be more engaging than “25.00 off winterization sale”. Not only would clients be more inclined to contact you from the first article but you already aided in building credibility with them before you even spoke to them.
Do you know what keywords and phrases your competitors are using in your industry? We do! With recent shifts in the importance of keywords there is still a need to understand them and effectively utilize them.Understanding what customers are searching for and how they are searching for it takes time and research. That is the first step we provide, then we look to implement that research into your campaign. A popular misconception of keywords would be if you owned a pizza shop, you would assume you would want “Pizza” as your first keyword but ask yourself when you search online to order a pizza because really that is your goal, to get a order, what do you type in? Do you just search for pizza? Or would a phrase better suit you like “pizza, Columbus, OH”. While if you are a national chain then you would want just the word pizza because that suits your relevance but for a local presence in Columbus, OH this would be wasted efforts. Understanding how the search engines read the cookies on your web browser for geo information would provide you higher ranking when people in Columbus, OH searched for pizza.
The BIG players in local search
There are four main aggregators of location data that send information to local search engines: Infogroup, Neustar Localeze, Acxiom, and Factual. Foursquare sends location data to both Pinterest and Instagram. RMX Digital Studio helps you establish a consistent business listing in all five of these databases—plus other directories and popular websites.
What does SEO cost
If you are serious about your online success you have undoubtedly searched for SEO companies and as you reviewed their sites I can imagine you went into some type of sticker shock. Seeing some have setup fees in thousands and or others having $500.00 to $1000.00 per month fees. You also seen the ads stating they promise a 600% increase in site traffic or conversation ratio.
You will not see any of that here. We custom build services geared toward small business owners on a budget that range from $175.00 per year up to $350.00 per month. Our strength is specializing in local enhancement and bringing big business tactics down to a local scale and budget. Do not think you cannot afford SEO services until you speak with us
